Soup Recipies

Light Pork Soup
3 Cups of Water
1/2 lean pork Chop(flattened with a tenderizer)
1/2 med. oinion
1/2 cup of diced peppers
3/4 cups of mushrooms
1 cup of chopped broccoli
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 small breakfast sausage
1 tbsp Knor Chicken broth powder(or whatever flavoring powder you like)

Bring water to a boil. In a pan, using Pam or fat free spray, cook the pork chop and then the sausage. Do not cook them together so you separate the flavors. Cut the cooked meat into pieces and put aside.

Cut the onions and peppers. Add onions, peppers, broccoli, & mushrooms and bring to a boil. Toss in the meats.

In a separate cup, mix the cornstarch with 1/4 cup of cold water. Dissolve cornstarch and pour the white milk like substance into your soup. Stir this and bring to a low simmer. Serve hot.

* you can add more or less salt to taste. I especially like adding pepper flakes.

Enjoy!
